Born and raised in the Midwest but my cooking style is anything but beige. Yes, I love making the comfort foods of my upbringing like fried porksteak, golumbki, and pasties but I also have a deep appreciation for the comida tipica of Mexico, Costa Rica, Ireland, Iceland, and Sicily just to name a handful of the places i’ve been and found inspiration.

Come join me on a hosted retreat, or hire me for one of your own! I can be an in-house chef for breakfast, lunch, or dinners.

If you want a learning experience, I can put together something fun for learning techniques, some hot tips, or just to have a good time with friends and get your hands dirty. Classes I’ve taught in the past are ravioli making, sushi, and even fermenting kimchi.
